• Building a Stronger Business Community - Parramatta Chamber of Commerce releases its Strategic Plan

The Parramatta Chamber of Commerce has released its Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025 to that has been designed to ensure the Chamber continues to serve, support and influence on relevant issues to the business community.

“Parramatta Chamber is Passionate about Parramatta and is committed to its Mission Statement in building a strong, trusted business community for all” said President Schon Condon.

Parramatta Chamber prides itself on its values:
    Connection | Create | Leadership | Education | Growth | Community.

    Purpose of the plan
The purpose of the plan is to ensure the support and influence of the Chamber across varying government bodies and decision makers is paramount. This will ensure the credibility and relevance to the business community.

The strategic plan outlines the key roles, responsibilities and authority of the various sub-committees that actively contribute to building a stronger business community working with various community partners and stakeholders across portfolios such as Membership, Governance, Economic Planning committee, networking events, signature events and community engagement.

This plan has been designed to support continued and diversified membership growth and is aimed at providing members and businesses with the tools needed to thrive in our ever-changing economic environment. There is also a focus on the economic reliance of the Chamber itself as a body.

COVID 19 has impacted largely on the way we now work, and the way society will work going forward. Technological advances in communication and workplace activity, along with the increase in work from home and the impact of social distancing on transport, work and leisure have also been considered. Innovative practice is a cornerstone of this plan.

    Delivering our plan
The strategic plan is a living document and will serve as a guide for the Chamber. The Action Plan will be reviewed regularly and appropriately to continually guide the Chamber in our Mission.

    Yours sincerely,

    Schon G Condon RFD
    President
