A Real Work of Arts
The Chamber of Commerce welcomes a new Museum to Parramatta and encourages members of the business community to express their support by completing the MAAS survey closing soon.
The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) is Australia’s contemporary museum for excellence and innovation in applied arts and sciences. MAAS currently operates three venues; the Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo, Sydney Observatory in Millers Point and the Museums Discovery Centre in Castle Hill.
There is a great opportunity for the business community to have input into a museum that what will be to Parramatta what the Opera House is to Sydney – a Work of Art!
“Congratulations to the NSW government for committing to Parramatta and Western Sydney for building an icon in a key location on the river with access to the Ferry and Eat Street
” David Hill, President of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce.
The NSW Government is working with MAAS to build a truly iconic new museum in Western Sydney, designed with community input with major economic benefits.
“This will cement Parramatta’s position as a tourist destination further benefiting business activity and growth”
says David Hill, President of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce.
We encourage members from the business community to complete the MAAS Project Survey, closing on 18 August. Your participation is appreciated.
