The Amazing Everyday

This week marks the launch of the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence, the third year of these Awards but the 21^st of the awards auspiced by the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce. The Parramatta Chamber, having pioneered the Awards for Parramatta, was asked by the State government three years ago to broaden their reach to embrace all of Western Sydney.

What has set these awards apart is that they are not a "popularity contest" but the result of a rigorous judging process. This year those judges have been drawn from the industries represented in the categories, with another level of judges to decide on the High Achiever Awards and the overall Business of the Year.

It is the nature of these awards to put names and faces to those people in business who have amazing stories to tell but, they little realise it because to them it's just what they do every day. But what they do every day is what drives their communities and powers our region. This is the chance for them to review their businesses and put their amazing stories out there for others to see and to get the recognition they all deserve.
