entertainment for Business Excellence Awards Lunch

The penultimate event for the
Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence at Parramatta RSL on Friday 30
July will present a very impressive line up of speakers and entertainment,
befitting these prestigious awards.
Featured
speaker Peter Irvine is a co-founder of Gloria Jean's Coffees and former
Managing Director DDB Needham
advertising agency in Sydney; where he was part of the team who launched
McDonalds in Australia. Peter has recently published his book - Win in Business.
In 1996 Peter with his business
partner Nabi Saleh, established the Gloria Jean's Coffees franchise in
Australia. Gloria Jean's Coffees has
grown to be the largest specialty coffee retailer and one of the fastest
growing franchise organisations in Australia. Today there are over 490 Gloria
Jean's stores and kiosks across Australia and over 900 coffee houses in 35
countries worldwide. Peter's presentation is entitled Building a Company, Building a Brand, Building a Life.
Dr Geoffrey Lee B.App. Sc., MBA, DBA is the Associate Dean Engagement, College of Business at
University of Western Sydney. In this role, Geoffrey is accountable for
embedding an engagement philosophy within the College as a key driver for
teaching, learning and research.
Geoffrey's
research focuses on the strategic applications of ICT for SMEs, industry
sectors, and education. He has completed various funded industry studies on
behalf of Advanced Manufacturing Australia, BASI, Wright International and IS
Technic.
The Awards' 2009 Entrepreneur of
the Year, Stephanie Dale began her
career in 1975 as a graphic designer in mainstream advertising and after Senior
Management roles in both National and International companies opened her own
Marketing Consultancy in 1996.
Since then her business has
expanded to include a full service advertising agency DMC Advertising Group
which includes a mailing house, Net response and Need Advertising and online
advertising and marketing consulting providing one-on-one mentoring to small
business owners.
More recently DMC has developed a
unique nationally acclaimed processing solution for the retail marketing world,
The Winning Process. Stephanie has recently completed her first
book Lingerie Logic - How to Climb the
Corporate Ladder without Losing Your Skirt.
The Seltic Sirens are a Celtic
cross-over supergroup of virtuoso award winning singers and instrumentalists
who bring audiences a rare blend of contemporary and original; with fresh
arrangements of traditional and popular songs. Their show features three harps,
captivating dance and enchanting harmonies; a magical musical journey.
The Ice Enchantress Ingrid, the
Fire Faerie Tahlia and the Seductress Shannon Bacall, the lead singers of the
Sirens will perform a special interlude of song at the Western Sydney Awards
for Business Excellence Lunch
