Fast Moving Region Parramatta is moving so fast these days we have caught up with the V8 Supercars. Already home to the spectacular SuperX bikes, our area now hosts the “Awesome in every moment” Sydney Telstra 500. The Parramatta Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a “Business Before Nine” breakfast presentation on this high performance event. Bruce Armstrong, Sydney Telstra 500 Event Manager will talk about what it takes to build and run a world class event and the importance of stakeholder engagement. The importance to our region of such events cannot be overestimated. There is world interest in V8 Supercars so that means the world looks in on us during an event that is a great advertisement for our area. Parramatta is becoming known to the world as “event central”. Colour, spectacle and excitement drive the business of the V8 Supercars and the Chamber is fortunate to be able to put on this breakfast for members and guests to see behind the scenes of a business driven by its product. The lessons from big business always apply to even the smallest business and in much the same way, big business creates opportunities for small business. So two occasions to put in your diaries, the V8 Supercars 2-4 December and the Chamber‘s “Business before Nine" on the 27th of this month.
