Everyone a Winner

Finalists in the 2010 Suncorp Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence were announced on Friday 13^th August and all can consider themselves winners. The judging is rigorous and based on the results of the business; it is not a popularity contest.

Entering is a smart marketing move and finalists enjoy the best kind of publicity. All finalists will be noted in the event programme, have their logos appearing throughout the evening and will be introduced to the audience as they receive their Finalists certificates at their table. As well, all finalists will be identified in the Parramatta Business Access magazine; a copy of which will be given to everyone on the night.

This year we again had a record number of entries, up 16% on last year's record, showing the power and resilience of the Western Sydney economy. Finalists cover a range of industries including marketing, education, medical research, manufacturing and even entertainment. Every category will have a very worthy winner. It appears too that last year's record attendance of over 400 will be exceeded this year as the Awards continue to grow and reach throughout Western Sydney.

It is also pleasing to note how many of the finalists attended the special entry workshops provided by the Chamber and Training Category Sponsor, The Parramatta College.

The winners will be announced at the 20^th Anniversary of the Chamber's Awards Gala Presentation Night, which takes place at the Grand Pavilion STC Function Centre Rosehill Gardens on Tuesday 14^th September 2010 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. The masked styled Venetian Carnivale theme and flavour will add a touch of glamour and charm to the occasion for everyone there.
