COME AND HEAR HOW
WELL YOUR CITY IS DOING
On 26th
February 2010, your Chamber is hosting the 2010 State of the City address. This is your opportunity to hear what your
Council has done over the last 12 months and its plans for the future of our
great city over the ensuing months. If you wish to be in the "know", then this
is a function not to be missed.
Last year,
we had around 300 attendees, all of whom were there to hear of the major
developments in Parramatta
over the past year.
This year's
lunch promises to be an even bigger and better event.
Much has
happened in Parramatta
over the last 12 months.
The ongoing
"fight for the ferry," the continued improvements to "The Loop" with the
support of private enterprise and the Parramatta City Council, West Metro and
concerns over Parramatta's transport infrastructure and the progress of the proposed
"Civic Place Development."
This year
the Council's presentation will be presented by Parramatta's Lord Mayor Cr. Paul
Garrard. The address will be an interesting and inspirational "health check" of
Parramatta, highlighting major developments which have taken place over the
last year and outlining plans for the future.
This is
your opportunity to hear about what your Council has planned for the next 12
months and beyond, and what Council and business can do to encourage business
investment for the future of this our great "City of Parramatta."
If you do business in Parramatta, don't miss State of the
City 2010.
